I love using lime in recipes. The flavor is delicious, the smell is refreshing and it reminds me of summer no matter what time of year it is.
The wonderful thing about using lime in the winter aside from the nostalgia is the vitamin C. Limes are packed with vitamin C and flavonoids, two antioxidants that boost immune function and keep us well during these darker months.
