I first created this Strawberry Cream Filled Dark Chocolates recipe in 2009 when I first started blogging recipes. I have changed the recipe slightly over the years but I come back to this yummy dessert over and over.
This raw vegan treat is simple, pretty and truly divine. This recipe is packed with healthy oils, antioxidants and some healthy fiber. It is a treat you can feel good about.
I create this recipe in two different varieties and sometimes create it in an ice cube tray (go here to see how that is done).
I always use silicone chocolate molds for easy removal of these chocolates. I either make the chocolate layered exposing some strawberry cream or completely coat the strawberries. I also shake up coating them before I freeze them with sometimes coating them after I freeze them.
All options are great and the flavor remains the same.
I hope you enjoy these little bites as much as I do.
This recipe is vegan, raw, gluten free, dairy free, contains healthy oils and all natural ingredients.

Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Coconut Oil
- 1/2 Cup Natural Cocoa Powder
- 1/4 Cup Natural Maple Syrup (or Agave, to make these sugar free you can also use liquid stevia to taste)
- *You will have lots of this left over. Store it in your refrigerator and use it as a spread.
- 1/2 Cup Natural Cashew Butter
- 1 1/4 Cup Strawberries (Fresh or Thawed)
- 1/2 Cup Coconut Oil
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 5-10 Drops Liquid Stevia (or 3 Tbsp Agave, Maple Syrup or Honey)
- 1 Tsp Lemon Juice
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
Directions:
- Blend Strawberry Cream ingredients until smooth in your food processor and set aside.
- In a separate food processor bowl blend Chocolate ingredients until smooth.
- Spray pre-chilled silicone chocolate molds with a healthy oil.
- Using a spoon pour the chocolate into each ice cube mold.
- Coat the bottom and the sides of each ice cube mold using your spoon.
- Tip – Make sure the molds are completely coated.
- Tip - The other way I like to make these is by just freezing the strawberry filling and then coating them with chocolate a few hours later.
- Fill each ice cube mold with Strawberry Cream filling.
- Top with a layer of chocolate coating.
- Place in the freezer for 2-3 hours.
- Remove from freezer and set on the counter for a minute or two.
- Gently release chocolates from silicone molds and place on a plate.
- Enjoy!
