What are the cals/pro/carb/fat in this?
I just made this and it is really light compared to the picture and doesn’t taste like anything to me???? I don’t understand what I did wrong.
Just figured out that dried chickpea measurements are wayyy different that cooked chickpea measurements. lol. I’m a newbie to homemade hummus! 🙂 I’m going to adjust and hopefully it turns out as yummy as it looks!
Still didn’t work for me. Since I used 2 cups of dried chickpeas I quadrupled all of the measurements. According to everything I have found on the internet, 1 cup dried chickpeas equals 2 1/2 to 3 cups cooked chickpeas so I did the recipe with 6 cups of chickpeas, 1 cup peanut butter, 1 cup almond milk, 8 tblspns honey, 8 packets of stevia, 12 tblspns flax, 4 tblspns. vanilla, 1/2 tspn baking soda, 8 tblspns cocoa, salt.
Did u cook the chickpeas?
Yes you cook the chickpeas or use the canned per cooked version.
Besides strawberries, any suggestions on what you can eat this with.
Any fruit or on toast/crackers
