Clean Eating Two Bite Brownies
Makes 24 Brownies
Ingredients:
- 1 Can Black Beans 540mL (rinsed thoroughly)
- 2 Egg Whites and 1 Full Egg
- 1/3 Cup Plain Pureed Pumpkin
- 3 Tbsp Cashew Butter (or Vegan Butter/Vegetable Oil)
- 1/4 Cup Cocoa Powder
- 1/8 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 6 Packets Stevia
- 4 Tbsp Agave or Honey
- 1/2 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips
- Optional – 1/4 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips for topping (*See notes below)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Spray your mini muffin tin with olive oil spray.
- Place all ingredients excluding chocolate chips into your food processor and blend until smooth scraping down the sides occasionally.
- Remove blade and with a spoon stir in chocolate chips.
- Spoon batter evenly into muffin tin.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Let brownies set for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
- Optional – Something I like to do when serving these brownies is dress them up a bit by taking 1/4 Cup of dark chocolate, melting it on the double boiler and spreading a thin layer on top of the finished brownie. I set them in the fridge so that the chocolate can harden. You can always top the melted chocolate with crushed nuts or candy cane as well!

These are such a great gluten-free recipe. I’m on the Paleo diet, and this isn’t completely Paleo, but it’s the closest thing I’ve found to real brownies. Thank you for sharing this!
That is great to hear!! You are going to love them!! Enjoy!!
You are so welcome!!
I just tried this recipe and didn’t tell my husband what they were made of until after he told me how much he loved them. Awesome. Can you tell us how many carbs are in 1 of these brownies?
Hi Maria! That is so great that he loved them. We don’t have carb counts on any of our recipes here at DAMY. See this link for more details: http://www.damyhealth.com/faq/#countcalories
I Just made the clean brownies and I’m blown away at how good the batter was. I’ve baked for years and I’m tyring a clean diet for the first time and the batter was fantastic, I don’t feel like I’m sacraficing at all! In fact, I feel 10 times better about eating a dessert like this because its made from ingredients that benefit my body not something that is hard on my body!
Thank you so much!!! That is so great to hear!!! I hope you are having an awesome day!!

Can i replace the stevia with something?
Hi Sue, You could replace the Stevia by adding more agave, honey or maple syrup.
Can I use puréed butternut squash instead of pumkin?
Yes!
Don’t have a mini muffin tin – would like to bake in a square pan, how long?
