How is your “day one” of being back in your “normal” routine going? Mine was a bit slow to start but is going well.
Remember this week to be kind to yourself.

One way I jumped back into my routine today was to get back into my daily smoothie. I wanted to create something new today using some of my leftover Holiday produce.
It turned out awesome!
Ohhhhh, I am loving today’s ginger smoothie! It is warming, energizing, and invigorating!
It is a cross between Chimes Orange Ginger Chews & an Original Orange Julius.
I am in love!
It is warm, creamy, sweet & spicy. And this Energizing Orange & Ginger Smoothie recipe is also vegan, gluten free, grain free, dairy free, high fibre, packed with vitamins and nutrients.

The recipe below is flexible and can be altered to your taste. Use less or more ginger as you enjoy! Remember starting out with less is always a safe bet. You can add more from there. If you know you love ginger feel free to use the full amount.
Ingredients:
- 3 Oranges
- 1 Thumb Sized Piece of Fresh Peeled Ginger
- 1.5 Cups Unsweetened Almond or Coconut Milk
- 4-5 Super Soft Medjooled Dates (pitted)
- 2-3 Tbsp Hemp Seeds (or a natural protein powder)
- 1 Handful of Ice (if you enjoy that texture)
Directions:
- Place all ingredients in your high power blender until smooth.
- Serve and enjoy!
