Have you had a good Holiday Season so far? Ours has been cozy and quiet.
Chocolate and orange combined is one of those things that you either love or hate. For those of you who love the flavors of chocolate and orange together this recipe is for you. This recipe is super simple to toss together and tastes absolutely delicious.
This recipe is a twist on my super popular 4-Ingredient Toasted Coconut Fudgy Bites.
It is important that you use the orange extract over orange juice for this recipe because the orange juice makes the fudgy bites extremely soft and sticky. No matter how long you freeze them they just won’t stay in a truffle shape. Use as much or as little of the orange zest as you enjoy. I really enjoy the flavors of orange zest so I use two full oranges worth. Use less if you desire.
This recipe is vegan, gluten free, high fiber, dairy free, no-bake and super simple.
Ingredients:
- Zest of 2 Oranges
- 2 Tsp Orange Extract
Directions:
- Follow the original 4-Ingredients Fudgy Toasted Coconut Bites (Found here) but include the two tsp of orange extract into your chocolate fudge and mix the fresh orange zest into your prepared toasted coconut for coating.
DAMY Members - 4 Fudge Balls are a great treat option or can be used once in a while for meal 2 (serving size - 2).
