I’m always on the quest for the perfect natural skin care, beauty and body products. I adore finding the most natural options that make my skin and hair look and feel amazing.
For almost 10 years I used the same body butter. It was awesome. It was a natural body butter with essential oils and it worked perfectly for my skin. I recommended it to everyone and was totally addicted. A couple years ago, however, they sold the company and the individuals that bought the company changed the formula. I fell out of love quickly.
I decided to start making my own body butters using simple, natural, raw materials and essential oils. The recipe below is my current favorite for the winter months.
It is super simple to make, smells delicious and is extremely hydrating.
I keep a sealed mason jar of this body butter in my shower. When I’m done showering I towel off and apply my body butter before I even get out of the shower. This is the perfect way into forcing me to put on body butter every single day.
I even put a tiny amount in my hands and add it to the ends of my hair. I’ve also used this as a hair mask and it works great.
Remember, this is a super rich formula and a little goes a long way. This fantastic combination of healthy oil is great for hydrating the skin and or hair, can help prevent or reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, banishes dry skin and can help lessen or alleviate the appearance of stretch marks.
With skin care, diet and exercise consistency is king. Meaning – use the body butter everyday for 30 days to truly see how you feel. Also, make sure that you are exfoliating your skin, getting in your water everyday, are eating a high volume of fruits and vegetables and moving your body as much as possible.
This is sure to create the goddess glow!
